Absolutely, but it wont happen here in the USA.:(

Our FDA has way too much power and control over the medications that are allowed in other countries and those allowed here.

Merital had been used sucessfully in Europe for a number of years before being released in the USA, but it was quickly squashed by Eli Lilly and other drug makers worldwide, on the pretence of a very few cases of illness that resulted in death.

This med had a very tolerable side-effect profile with few cases of sexual dysfunction reported.
