I responded well to Merital, but of course it was pulled off the market in 1985. Yes, it was a TCA that had dopaminergic properties.

Although I dont respond well to existing antidepressants, I tend to be a tricyclic and MAOI responder. I'm trying to get an idea as to how important the dopamine reuptake inhibition was to this drug's therapeutic effects.
