A least pregabalin is a new molecule! Anyway, it remains to be seen how many people will find it better than gabapentin. It's so new. Some people might even prefer gabapentin! Also, some people might find it better than gabapentin because of a stronger placebo effect. Whenever people are led to believe that a new drug will be more effective, they often find that it is more effective. Results of medication are dependent on expectations as well as pharmacology!
