Mmmmm, shame the pharmaceutical companies spend so much money producing drugs with no real advantages over the drugs which are already available.
Desvenlafaxine WY 45233 DVS 233
Desvenlafaxine, an O-demethylated metabolite of venlafaxine, is being developed for the treatment of depression. Desvenlafaxine inhibits serotonin and noradrenaline reuptake and **has demonstrated antidepressant effect very similar to venlafaxine** in pre-clinical studies. Phase III trials for the treatment of major depressive disorder are underway in the USA.
Oh yay, what an innovation!!!!
