Sorry about the misunderstanding about the opium. I always get stressed out when people misunderstand my posts!!
No, I wasn't considering trying Amytal. There is no way I would ever get prescribed it. My pdoc doesn't even prescribe Ativan. I just wondered whether certain people might find Amytal more effective for anxiety than a benzo. I'm sure many people would find it less effective though.
