mmmmmm, Ativan causes your feel "clean" and back to normal, normal funtioning without the anxiety. Amytal is more rough, it cuts anxiety but causes more mental fog or slowing, slows your normal functioning, you feel more "down", noticed sedation.
Ativan can do this, but at higher doses, but still they have their own effects.
Are you considering trying Amytal?
