Absolutely, but it was less than 10 lbs. Part of the gain may have been from the fact that I had been on desipramine right before, which I believe also slowed down my metabolism (from its histamine blockade), but it also killed my appetite even more, such that I had lost about 5 lbs. So I was unnaturally thin to begin with, but what surprised me was that I gained about 8 or 9 lbs in about two months on Nardil. Honestly, part of the reason also was the blasted insomnia was waking me up so early I got in the habit of going out for breakfast in the mornings instead of just having a bowl of cereal. Once I realized what was going on, I did cut calories, but it was all I could do to maintain that weight, and some weeks, I was running over 20 miles.
