Giving you the benefit of the male viewpoint,
My wife took many meds including effexor for years, our sex life was nil, it got to the point in our relationship than rather being rejected for sex or hearing that she had or some other malady that affected her libido whenever I felt frisky I would just sleep in the other bedroom.
Talk with your doctor and see if there is somenting you might take that would supercharge your libido, give your sweetie a chance.
