hi irene,

well, let me help with the research part. here are some unbiased reviews of this drug by people who've taken it.

http://remedyfind.com/rem.asp?id=99

it gets a higher rating than the SSRIs or effexor. i also suggested it because it raises all the neurotransmitters well..why take a med that only hits one or two when you can take one that raises them all?? this is important. and lamictal is one of the only meds that does this, and i feel should be a first-line treatment over all these popular SSRIs and SNRIs. (just hope you don't get the rash. remember, it goes away for many people who take it, although you need to be careful if you get the severe form of it) and if the lamictal doesn't work out, perhaps you could retry parnate, since it worked for you (i'm not surprised-it hits all the neurotransmitters as well) if your hiatus from it has been long enough. or provigil..i'm surprised it caused you anxiety..it is supposed to be stimulating without causing anxiety. i'm just giving suggestions here so you can take a look at the full arsenal of meds at your disposal..it's fully up to you, though, of course!..btw, if you would like more reviews of lamictal, there is another site i need to look up that i can recommend.

take care,:)
amy
