----------This could certainly qualify as OCD, as it sounds like a compulsion (you *had* to do it, rather than wanting to do it). It's not clear whether or not you have obsessions, however. OCD is defined by having intrusive, unwanted thoughts which cause you to do specific acts as a way of alleviating the anxiety experienced from the thoughts. The unwanted thoughts are spontaneous (out of the blue), and often involve fears that something bad will happen (you'll hurt someone, get ill, be attacked, etc). If your repetitive actions aren't related to bad thoughts, you probably don't have OCD.
I often picture myself outside myself, say I have a picnic to go to and I know 3 weeks in advance. I picture the whole thing as if it were a movie and I see myself sitting there.
-----------It's impossible to say just what specific disorder you may have, or if you indeed have one. Technically speaking, many conditions aren't considered disoders unless they significantly impact your life (you lose a job, cannot maintain relationships with others, are unhappy because of your symptoms). It could be autism, Schizotypal personality disorder, or OCD. Often times, people with mental problems don't have a single disorder, but two or three in various intensities. It would be worth going to a mental health professional if you feel that your life is made difficult because of your problems. Hope this helps.
