Referenced EEG to guide medication selection

Posted by Aurora1 on September 2, 2004, at 3:36:02

Has anyone heard of Referenced EEG to guide medication selection? I hear it involves getting a simple, awake, eyes closed digital EEG and then your pdoc gets a 2-page report listing the specific medications that have the highest probability of working for your. It compares your EEG to a normal database and a psychiatric database. I've heard of some people have had amazing results--eating disorders, treatment resistant depression (my case) and ADHD.... Has anyone here tried it or heard about it?
