I took Paxil CR--first 12.5, then 25mgs. I had a panic episode the first day of classes two weeks into 25mgs, but I assumed that was because it was the first day of classes and because I was new on Paxil. It never happened again, but Paxil made me forgetful, apathetic in the extreme, and the SSE's were too much. Yes, I would say it was bad at first, but Paxil works for some people and works very well for panic disorder. Good luck,
