yes, I just got off of Effexor XR about six months ago- a nightmare within itself - and now I am on Lexapro. I am not sure if it is helping me or not to be honest. I am also a sufferer of GAD, panic disorder and mild agoraphobia so I take Klonopin as well. The Klonopin works- but the Lexapro so far has just given me a mild calm feeling which I think is good....since I can't do that on my own no matter what...but I am curious myself if it is really good with GAD.
