You know, I've read that withdrawal symptoms show up at once and at first but that when/if you have depressive symptoms again after *months* it's your depression returning - not withdrawal.I don't know if this is true but in my experience I've gotten through Effexor withdrawal several times and done okay for a month or two and then lapsed back into severe depression. Then again, I've also lapsed into severe depression within two weeks of stopping meds abruptly. I don't know how helpful this is...
