hello there, chemist here...as per: prn dosing, that is a decision for you and your doctor to make to see if it is effective. adult-onset diabetes has been associated with this drug - and many other unpleasant things - and although as i have stated before that this is way out of my even peripheral knowledge, what i have read is that the incidence is largely correlated with dose, length of treatment, and preexisting disposition for metabolic maladies relating to processing sugars. all the best, chemist
