I took Buspirone, the generic for Buspar, for about 4 to 5 months. It was easy to get started on and it did help me for a while, then it stopped all of a sudden (right after I got it refilled, coincidentally).
The only side effect I remember having is that I guess sometimes it turned off the "edit" function in my brain. Sometimes I would say things that I really shouldn't have said and didn't mean to say. Nothing catastropic, just some unexpected sarcasm!
