I first have to thank everone for the wonderful; information and for being so supportive. I spoke to my doctor today and he is discontinuing the lexapro because of the side effects. I am going to try Zoloft tommorrow. Lexapro has not let me slep very well either despite the fact that I take it early in the morning. It made me have racing thoughts all night about my memory loss and how I was feeling etc... Also being a fellow hypochondriac I become very snesitive to any side effect.

I do use the Xanax which help agitation cause by the lexapro, but it does not help the aniety I experience rom my own scarythoughts.

> Hey Christina - I actually have experienced the memory loss as well. Sometimes I feel like I can't think of a word or am slurring my words a bit. It freaks me the hell out! Being the hypochondriac that I am, I of course think right away that I have some awful disease - but it could just be the lex. I am going to my family doc for my 5 week lex checkup on Friday and will run it by her then.
