I'm really surprised at your response to Maprotiline. I've taken that as well as Amitriptyline and Doxepin. Maprotiline was just very mildly sedating for me. I used to take 25 mg. nightly to aid sleep. Doxepin and Amitriptyline were extremely sedating for me. With Amitryptiline, my apartment could have caught on fire and I'd have been too groggy to get up and out the door.
