I'm currently on a tricyclic antidepressant amyltriptiline which does nothing for social anxiety and I have been on it for many years.
Some people mentioned hypomania and apathy, I wouldn't mind having more energy (my totem animal should be the sloth! :O) and apathy doesn't sound too bad either, that is if it replaced the social anxiety!Sounds like Celexa is a 'maybe' but over on
remedyfind.com Lexapro seems to be the king.Not sure if I should bother with an ssri or just find a psych who will treat me with klonopin
(MAOIs are a no go I mean I love cheese etc).Damian.
