chemist here....i was doing 100 mg bid and let me tell you there was a weight loss of over 20 lbs. from 168 to about 145. the bad news is that this med is indicated as adjunct therapy to a primary mood stabilizer. you'll get thin and trim but expect cognitive effects (offset in my case by 30 mg dexedrine qd) and all studies indicate that as monotherapy, it's no good. i had better luck with trileptal and dexedrine.....best, chemist
