I am on 300mg Wellbutrin and 75mg Effexor XL for bipolar II and generalized anxiety. I could not tolerate a higher dose of effexor (blood pressure went too high) but the addition of Wellbutrin did the trick. I am very happy with this combo for my condition.
Before that we had tried Buspar but it gave me bad headaches and did not seem to address the anxiety at all.
I feel as normal as I did before all this mess.
