Hi Fragile,

I really hope you can get in to see your husbands psychiatrist. If your local university has a hospital, try giving them a call. Many times they have psychiatrists on hand who are willing to see patients the same week that they call.

Meds that work well for anxiety: Lexapro and Paxil. (I'm not a fan of Paxil, but meds effect everyone very differently.)

Benzos (another family of meds) that work well for anxiety: Klonopin, Xanax and Lorazepam. Benzos are VERY effective for treating anxiety.

Rest assured that you'll find something to help you calm your nerves so you can return to your normal life.

K.
