I was on and off the SSRIs for about ten years. Felt exactly what you're talking about. Now I've been off them for about 9 months, and I *STILL* feel just as flat and emotionless as I did when I was taking them.
Has anyone else had this experience? Have these drugs permanently changed my brain chemistry so that I will never again be able to feel joy? What a terrifying prospect...
Haven't felt excitement in 10 years.
