I have tried Anafranil in the past, a tryciclic, and many SSRI (Prozac, Celexa, and Paxil). I think that with Anafranil I experienced less flatness, and I think it can be dued to its NE-uptake. I've asked to someone on this board that was using noradrenergic meds if he experienced flatness, and he says that on converse, he was more able to feel his emotions. So, maybe, flatness is more related to Serotonin and using meds that have NE-ruptake properties can help.
