I've had gastritis for a few years as part of my battle with job and home stress and the anxiety that appears to have led me into depression. I am on Lex as of a month ago. My first psychotropic drug. Wonderful stuff so far. My anxiety and fear levels have reduced and my life is getting back on track. I take Prilosec daily and have found that the reduction in anxiety with Lex is clearly helping my stomach even out and cause me less discomfort. I hope to reduce the use of Prilosec at some point and get my stomach and overall digestive system in more normal condition. I've been checked for ulcers everyway medical science has invented and they've only diagnosed gastritis. Like a sunburn on the inside caused by acid baths caused by STRESS and the resulting anxiety. Hope this helps. NEMO2
