Why is the maker of Lexapro acting like 20 mg is some kind of 'magical' dose for ALL? As if EVERYBODY on Lexapro will have their most effective response at 20 mg, not 15 or 25 or 30 or WHATEVER. My doc (being the pharmaceutical marketing sheep like most of them are) sure enough prescribed it at that 'magical' 20 mg/day dose. (I never heard of a SINGLE dose for Zoloft, Prozac, Celexa or ANY other AD...you always have to work to find the best dosage for YOU as an individual). Anybody else out there find that 20mg/day of Lexapro just wasn't quite enough? I'm thinking that 25 mg (maybe even 30 mg/day) would be necessary to give me the AD effect that I need. Anybody else need MORE than 20 mg/day???
