Hi Melstar,
Being unusually tired is very common on the first few weeks of lexapro. It goes away by week 4 or 5, sometimes sooner because meds effect everyone differently.
I take my lex at night between 10:30 pm and 11:00 pm. This helped a little bit with the problem of feeling tired all the time. Your girlfriend might want to give it a try.
Also, while it probably is the Lex that is making her tired it could also be the Trazadone. A lot of people swear by the drug, but it can sometimes cause you to skip REM sleep making you tired during the day. It's very uncommon though.
I'm glad to hear that she's had positive results on lex so far. When I was in my first few weeks on the drug another lex user told me "the best is yet to come" and she was right. I'm starting on week 6 and feel great! I wish your girlfriend continued success...she'll probably stop feeling tired in the next few weeks.
