I notice that when I take neurontin I want to eat like crazy! I know that for that reason, at least, I have gained a lot of weight. I have wondered, too, whether or not it slows the metabolism...
Unfortunately for me, lamictal was ineffective after a time. Neurontin always has been able to calm me down, and that is what I have relied on it for. Does it work as a mood stablizer? Well......I can't say, because I don;t know what having stable moods feels like LOL.I wish you luck with Lamicatal. My shrink thinks it is a great drug.....well, maybe for other patients, but not for me.....
