This is almost exactly what I experience. When I wake up in the morning, I really feel down. I have no energy and don't feel like I have anything to look forward to each day. I usually go through the day with very little energy but, what's probably worse, I'm anxious too. My mind races and I procrastinate. It's the feeling of repeatedly changing the channel in your mind or a skipped CD. This is why my pdoc thinks I may have ADD and wants to try Adderall. I dropped off a script on Tuesday but I'm afraid to pick it up. I really want to be certain I have ADD before I start an amphetamine. By nature, I'm overly cautious.

I also can empathize with what happens to you at night. For me, around 10:00 p.m., it's like a light turns on and I start to focus and get motivated. I can actually get stuff done. Of course, this obviously isn't an ideal time to be productive. I just found a comprehensive report that was done on me when I was 7 years old. Apparently, I had ADD symptoms when I was young and my parents took me to a Child Development Center or something to investigate my behavior. I had totally forgotten about it until my mother brought it up a few days ago. I think by letting my pdoc read this evaluation we can get a much clearer picture of what's going on with me.

Keep us updated with your situation. I'm really interested.
