Zoloft has been a life saver for my 16 yr old son. He has schizophrenia. He takes 75 mg in morning and 20 mg zyprexa(anti psychotic) at night. Zoloft has smoothed out his ups and downs, quelled his anxiety and eliminated his panic attacks. The dosage is critical on this med. Some say 50 mg is not enough and 100 mg is too much. It will act differently for each individual but it seems to help nearly everyone. It can take a few weeks to take full effect though so if it isn't working well for you in a month you might need to check with your Dr about adjusting the dosage.
