It took me a long time to find him but I managed to get a great one who calls our time together a " patient directed consultation".
However the original point is well made, most docs seems to feel very threatened by someone who knows a decent amount about this area. The only thing I can say in their defence is that I did read a study which suggested that 80+% of patients just want their docs to tell them what to do or give them a prescription, so I guess they get used to being "gods"Glenn
