Which wellbutrin? __ or SR or XL? Sounds like the SR if twice a day. I take 100 mg SR 2-3 times daily. I also take 5 mg zyprexa with it. I've found that the more zyprexa I take the easyer the higher dose of wellbutrin is to take. Wellbutrin is a stimulant, sort of like coffee, in the brosure they say it is similar to amphetamine, just isn't addictive. The withdraw is a little tough. I had a hard time going for less than 200 mg a day, 300 mg is a little tough. You could try taking only on dose for a while, you will still get some smoking cessation from it. I hope you didn't go up to the 300 mg form day one. You need to slowly go up in dose no faster that your body can handle. This is why I got 100 mg pills. I started with 100 mg a day for the first 4 days, then 200 mg for the next 4 days, then 300 mg after. Each time I increased the dose it was harder to handle, I also couldn't take it all at once in the morning.
