Hi,
I am also BPII dxed recently as well after a year bout on ADs to no effectiveness.
Anyway, my pdoc also gave me Seroquel for sleep. I only take 1/4 of 25mg = so 6.25? It helps me sleep, but I too experience that depression the next day. I only started noticing it since being on mood stabilizers. Because when you're really sad all the time, what's to notice about the "next day hangover" from Seroquel? Only since I've been feeling a little better, have I noticed that S. effects my mood the next day. even only after 6.25.
So you're not the only one. I will mention it to my pdoc next visit and maybe can get something else.

Now I come to this board again after a diagnosis of Bipolar II and a little run with some hypo mania (nothing too exciting---just some nasty insomnia resistant to benzos and remeron, some spending problems, behavior that was over the top -- even for moi :-)....
