Hey Kimberly,
It seems to be a little different for everyone, but I cut down quite gradually and expreienced my worst side effects in the first 5 days with the 3rd day being the worst. I had vertigo so bad I couldn't drive and my doc put me on an anti-vertigo drug that helped immensly. I did however have a rebound depression during the next couple of weeks.. But it was worth every minute of it to get off. It worked well for a while, and then just became ineffective....that happens sometimes.....good luck, let us know how you make out.
