My sister is a nurse and yes, they use Benedryl for nausea in the hospital (she works with kids who have cancer).

Only thing is - you either have to crush the pill or take the capsul and break it apart or take the adult liquid form - why? Works faster.

Taste nasty, but does do the trick for stomach flu, so I dont see why it wouldnt work for the shocks too, relax the system.

Benedryl is also a very mild antidepressant.
