Sorry about the late reply. I don't believe that anyone has shown a clear correlation between OCD or depression and high histamine levels. While you might find high histamine levels in people with OCD and possibly depression, you cannot make the conclusion that high histamine levels are causing the problems. Simply showing that a particular neurotransmitter is "out of balance" in a disorder does not imply a causal relationship between the imbalance and the disorder. I was unable to find any experiments in the MEDLINE database involving the measurement of histamine levels in patients with either OCD or depression; I am aware that some researchers (like Dr. Pfeiffer) have conducted research on this matter in the past, however.
