I think an exercise program (cardio) like running/jogging or walking briskly by yourself would slow down your reactions and let you meditate a little. I found that exercise worked in channeling my agitation into something positive. Zanax is a possibility, but, it's highly addictive and realy hard to withdraw. You may need to have a sit down meeting with your significant others and tell them what is happening, they may be able to help by reminding you at the time of an episode or in other ways.
