I never really thought about feeling cruddy in the morning. I take a Xanax first thing when I awaken. It's a ritual. Mostly because I haven't had any in about 6 or 7 hours (I take one at bed time). Maybe I will feel ok but if not, I will try that trick of waking up and taking it earlier then trying to sleep for a while. It makes sense. I do have 1 mg tablets for a while "in case" I feel the immediate need. I sure hope this works. I would like the "straight line" vs the highs and lows when the stuff just quits and I can feel it.
Thanks!
