Glad you found your way here. There are several Anti-Depressants (AD's) that help with Anxiety tremendously. Benzo's help with anxiety also but they can be habit-forming. I have an addictive personality so I couldn't go the Benzo route. AD's are officially non-habit forming THOUGH you need to taper off gently when planning to stop. Paxil and Effexor are the AD's that help with anxiety that *I* have experience with. They both work. Side Effect's (SE's) are the kicker. Everyone has a different experience. You'll be apprehensive from reading the negative posts. Remember that mainly people having problems with SE's seek out this website. The ones having no problems are out there happily living their lives. There are many success stories posted on here. You could be the next.
