Periactin (an antihistamine) improves my irritability, but Remeron never did.
I have to admit, that I was less irritable on Remeron, than I was on nothing. At least on Remeron, I felt like I could get stuff done, and that I enjoyed certain things (eating and sleeping). But for me it was a bad combination. I couldn't gain weight so I couldn't eat that much, and nothings worse than having drug induced hunger and irritability. But funny enough, when I wasn't hungry/irritable on it, It had a very potent AD effect on me.
