It never went away for me the three different times (different combos) that I've tried it. It never seemed to get worse or better-just the same-and it didn't matter how much Remeron I took either. I haven't read anything here about anyone that took it, got irritable from it, then it "faded" after awhile either. I suppose that if someone was very irritable due to their depressive symptoms and Remeron worked great for their depression, that the irritability *might* fade away, but haven't heard that yet.
