Hi Folks
I am new to the board and to ADS.I have suffered from depression and GAD for many many yrs. but only got the courage to seek help six weeks ago.My doc. has started me on Effexor XR.
Week one 37.5
Week two and three on 75
Weeks four,five and six one 150.That is where I am at the moment.
On the plus side I have had no side effects but on the negative it has had no effect on my GAD or depression.
Should I have had positive effects by now?
I am going back to doc.next week should I ask for an increase? Should I stay at 150 for longer? or should I try another med.?
This is a new venture for me I have read about all the possible withdrawl problems but at this moment I really dont care I will try anything.
