brain shivers-I believe I experienced those coming off of Paxil. They aren't painful, at least mine wasn't, but they are frightening because they just don't seem normal. This website is scaring me alittle, but my suicial urge to drive into a tree and end it all scares me more. 5 days on Effexor and I'm already more stable. ^5 to Effexor. It's working for me. As for Effexor Withdrawal, I've gone thru alcohol withdrawal before (not bragging) which ended me up in a hospital. As long as Effexor withdrawal isn't worse than that, I can handle it.
