CRF antagonists for atypical/bipolar II ?

Posted by HOK on May 14, 2003, at 14:49:48

I know it's sort of early to start even wondering these questions, but since these CRF antagonists are getting so hyped, I'd like to know if they'd also be helpful for atypical and bipolar II people as well. Someone said that they won't really be helpful since it could lead to more problems with oversleeping and lack of motivation. Is this true?

Why is it that all the research being done is mostly for unipolar depression? Are there any new treatments for atypical/bipolar II depression we can look forward to in the near future as well?
