> I am getting so sick of my anxieties. Today, I could not go into a store without having to go to the bathroom. And I have no freaking idea why I was getting nervous. I had to pop a Xanax. Then I start worrying about having a full blown attack and going to the hospital. I am just getting so MAD about it. No one understands!!! I am trying to find a counselor, but what if they just think it's an act? AAARRRGGGHHHHH!!!! My email is cruzandfamily@hotmail.com if you have any encouraging words. I am new to this site. Thanks!

Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that you are not alone. The whole anxiety/panic thing can be extremely frustrating...it may seem like no one understands, but there are lots of people who do. I've had panic attacks for over 15 years, but could deal with them until I mentioned them to my dr. She put me on every SSRI known to man which only made things worse....finally a visit to the ER after following her advice to take ever increasing doses of paxil. I finally found a pdoc that understood what was up. I've been off all antidepressants for a year now, but have been left with a lingering daily anxiety, much like you describe. Xanax is the only thing that helps but I too feel very angry about haviing to deal with this. I've recently started seeing a therapist in addition to my pdoc...give it a try. I can't see a huge difference yet, but I think it may be helping. Good luck, Worrier.
