technically, a med-induced hypomanic episode is not considered bipolar disorder (although some may refer to it as bp3). let's see, you're on an energizing AD and speed- did you have 'compulsive' episodes before this combo? did they last at least 4 days or were you ever hospitalized for it? if the answer is yes, then you should be considered for a work-up for bipolar disorder. if the answer is no, and you feel the meds are affecting your behavior then definitely get a second opinion. good luck-judy
