Yes e503 My daughter was started on 10mg of Abilify because she has a very sensative system to medications. However after 1 month her pschiatrist increased it to 15mg.
To answer further questions you have regarding Abilify go to HealthyPlace.com and click psychiatric medications.
Now you well see where it says stay on the starting dose for at least 2 weeks but sometimes 4 weeks. It really depends on the individual. I don't know how your son's system is to medications.
But again I strongly suggest to you to follow the pscyhiatrist's starting dose of 15mgs. Abilify is a very new med and they still are finding out more and more about it. So stick with the 15mg and not the 7.5mg. In the final analysis I strongly feel you well see an improvement for your son.
