> Hi,
> Klonopin + Celexa is supposed to be the best combo for DPD, maybe with some added Lamotrogine. I have DPD too, and Klonopin has helped. As it happens I'm thinking about trying Nardil now. Clomipramine did nothing for my DP. Research shows that Clomipramine doesn't work for DPD disorder very frequently, but when it does it more or less kicks ass. So if it works for you and takes down the OCD at the same time that'll be sweet. Good luck dude.
> I can't help think that you were on a good thing with the Nardil. I know you won't be satisfied till you get rid of OCD too, but didn't it do wonders for your DP,Depression,SP?

With depression...Oh yeah, and it still is. With DP, at first, but lately NO. Some periods are very hard...I have sit at the back of lecture halls in case of an attack. For instance, it was overcast today (this heightens the derealization feeling) and it took me 25 mins to walk a 5 min distance to uni...very sad. I don't think the Lithium is causing this but to rule it out it has been discontinued. But the DR it's mostly during phobic times. Nardil is still much better than Zoloft was ever. I have subclinical SP and it's something I believe is much less important than DP and OCD.

Are you sure you want to give that up? Is there definitely nothing else left thats worth trying with the Nardil?

This is the thing that's really burning me dude...IF ONLY I could add Anafranil or certain other ADs to Nardil. I tried Pindolol with Nardil - made me worse. Lithium done zilch.
Klonopin is impossible to get in Australia unless you have neurologically proven epilepsy. All the mood stablizers are hard except Tegretol...and that is contraindicated. The only option with Nardil is Zyprexa or Risperidone. And I seriously cotemplated them. But they'll remain last line.

Sorry for raising these questions you've probably been ruminating over for hours,

You are right on the money with that comment!!

but I generally think that if you find a drug that works very effectively for at least half your problems than stick with it. Maybe thats only my philosophy because I can't find many drugs that help, I dunno. If you've made the decision, stick to your guns. I suppose you'll never know if you don't try.

That's true. And if something doesn't work out...hey I'll just go back to Nardil.
Update Mark - I'll be trying PARNATE instead of Anafranil.
