Another zoloft discontinuation/serzone issue

Posted by bookgurl99 on April 14, 2003, at 18:35:49

Due to concentration problems and numbed-out feeling, I am trying to get off of Zoloft. Any advice about how the discontinuation process works?

For two years, I was on Serzone, which worked great for me. But I developed a sensitive reaction to it, and was unable to take it.

I have ocd -- the kind where something out of place fills me with dread and adrenaline-racing panic. But I am a really sociable, happy person, and Serzone allowed me to feel that again. Zoloft just robs my mind and feelings. The fear is gone, but so is the happiness.

Does anyone have suggestions for something else that may work? I've considered Effexor due to it's also being a dual-action drug. Any suggestions/experiences?

Thanks.
