Just a few weeks ago I wasn't able to sleep for 102 hours. Sometime during the third day I began having "mild" visual hallucinations (floral patterns on things would grow, wood grain would crawl). Around hour 98 I went full-on psychotic, talking to people and things that weren't there, having vivid hallucinations of terrifying things out of the corner of my eye, seeing my house come alive and try to kill me... crazy stuff.

Definitely try to get a prescription sleep-aid before it gets this far. Unfortunately, I don't respond to any drugs for sleep, short of general anesthetics. So I just had to keep on until the hallucinations wore me out.
